Managed by the Essendon Football Club, the team will be providing schools with a performance of CONNECTED followed by a chat with representatives from the Club and a session with the Bully Zero Foundation. A month doesn't pass where we don't see the loss of life to bullying in Australia. There are many stories of teenagers and adults who tragically end their lives after enduring unbearable, persistent and callous bullying either through their workplace, school, community group or through social media.
In April 2012 a group of energetic, passionate and committed individuals consisting of families of bullying victims, senior members of the police force, volunteers, psychologists, lawyers, teachers, politicians and professionals from various backgrounds established a Foundation like no other. The Bully Zero Australia Foundation was launched by Hon. Prime Minister Julia Gillard on March 16, 2013. The Foundation has gained support from various charity partners, media, local, state and federal governments and businesses. Bully Zero Australia Foundation is a not-for-profit charity with DGR status and is the fastest growing charity in Australia. The Foundation continues to work tirelessly to deliver effective evidenced-based, educational programs on a National level. The Foundation exists to protect and empower children, adolescents, teachers, parents, apprentices, trainees, employees and employers, to live fulfilling lives free from all forms of bullying. Leonie Smith - The Cyber Safety Lady

Leonie Smith is a cyber safety educator who is also known as "The Cyber Safety Lady” She is the Author of the Parent Cyber Safety Manual “Keeping Kids Safe Online” And the Student Manual “Keeping You Safe Online”
After 20 years experience in online marketing, digital media and online community building, Leonie's 4 children and their experiences (both positive and negative) with technology and the digital world have inspired her to focus all her efforts on cyber safety. As someone who was an early adopter of social media and the internet, and who is also a keen gamer, Leonie helps bridge the digital divide between parents and children. She is passionate about privacy and security online. Leonie is also a founding board member of the anti bullying charity “The Community Brave Foundation.” Leonie’s goal is to make sure that everyone can use the internet for all it’s wonderful benefits whilst staying safe online. www.thecybersafetylady.com.au |

Cyber Safe Kids, founded in 2006, is a global organization that assists government, industry, media, educators, schools and parent communities to understand the challenges of living and working in the digital world.
Cyber Safe Kids is the first organization to become a Global Educational Partner with Common Sense Media, a non-profit organization from the US who has developed resources around digital citizenship and literacies. Robyn Treyvaud is an educational leader with over 40 years experience in schools in Australia and has worked in Asia as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) workshop leader. Talent Development Project

The Talent Development Project develops the talents and careers of young Australian performers and song writers, through working with the entertainment community and providing unique industry experience.
The Talent Development Project aims to: · Identify talented senior students within the Department of Education and Training who are sufficiently advanced, and who show a real interest in making popular entertainment a career. · Develop performing, creative, musical and entertainment skills. · Provide opportunities for rehearsal and expert feedback on performances. · Create situations in which students can rehearse and perform ensemble and solo shows and participate in selected public performances. · Assess the development of learners’ performing and creative skills progressively and in a final graduation performance. · Provide up-to-date career advice and information, with guidelines for developing personal career development plans. www.talentdevelopmentproject.org.au |
