MICHAEL - played by Quin Kelly
Quin is a graduate of the Ballarat Arts Academy where he completed a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) in 2015. Highlights at the Arts Academy included Urinetown (Bobby Strong), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Trevor Graydon), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Neville Landless) as well as his self-devised cabaret 'Ballet Taught Me How To Be A Man'.
Quin was also selected to sing in a masterclass with Broadway star Faith Prince. Last year, he had the pleasure of working with Nancye Hayes (OAM) on a new Australian work Riches, Romance and Rebellion. Quin was the voice of Village Cinemas 'Vpremium' advertising campaign. Recently, Quin performed in Saturday Night Fever (Tony Cover) for StageArt. Up next, Quin will be performing the role of Michael in Pursued By Bear's production of TICK TICK BOOM. EMMA - played by Zenya Carmellotti
Zenya Carmellotti is a Melbourne based performer who has recently graduated from 'Transit Dance' with her Certificate IV in Dance. She has been training in dance most of her life, and currently she also studies voice with Martin Croft and Donna King. Most recently, Zenya was seen at Chapel off Chapel, playing Lorell in the Australian Premiere of Dreamgirls with StageArt. Also with StageArt, Zenya was part of 2013 Hair: Summer Of Love and Hair: The Victorian Tour in 2014.
Zenya’s other performing experience includes Chunky Move's It Sounds Silly under the direction of Adam Wheeler, as well as in the Tivoli Theatre Pantomines Pinocchio, and with the performers in P&Os The Very Last Night Show. Zenya can also be seen in the current MacDonald’s AFL TVC. In 2015 Zenya was honoured to perform alongside Hugh Jackman at his Red Ball with the 2015 Dreamgirls cast, an event she will never forget. Zenya wishes to thank her Mum Cathy, Uncle Robbie, and her agents at Centrestage Agency for all their support. |
DYLAN - played by David Mock
David Mock is a triple threat from Palmerston North in New Zealand. Before moving to Sydney to Study the Diploma of Musical Theatre at Brent Street in 2014, he played many lead roles in community theatre and sang and danced at many public and private events. As well as touring Connected in Sydney in 2015, David worked with Greg Page (The original yellow Wiggle) in a primary school's show Two By 2. He's excited to bring Connected to the schools of Melbourne with its important message and powerful story.

KATE - played by Darcy Dann
Darcy Dann grew up in South East Melbourne, with a childhood that consisted of laughter, Harry Potter, happiness, and performing arts. Deciding to be an actor, she auditioned for the Ballarat Arts Academy as soon as she completed VCE. Darcy’s University credits include Rosie in Cabaret the Musical, directed by David Wynen, Wendla in Spring Awakening, directed by Tom Healey, and writing her own short self-devised cabaret Love Letters to JK under the direction of Fiona Scott-Norman.
Upon graduating from university, Darcy has worked with Australian Shakespeare Company in their 2015 & 2016 seasons of Alice and Peter Pan in Never Neverland, playing White Rabbit and Princess Tiger Lily. Darcy wrote, produced, and performed in her full-length cabaret Accio Adulthood as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2015, for which Robyn Womersley was the associate musical director. The show received positive reviews, and had sold out nights. Darcy hopes to continue learning and growing as an actor, even when she turns 70 years old. |
